本校學生及老師共12人的童軍成員，獲邀參加8月30日主題為「銘記歷史緬懷先烈珍愛和平開創未來」，中國人民抗日戰爭七十周年紀念巡遊。當中本校共有五名學生更代表香港童軍總會，作是次巡遊的持旗手和儀仗隊。

是次巡遊包括本港十多個青少年制服團體，和曾參與戰爭的老兵，由民政事務局局長劉江華於九龍公園主持起步禮，巡遊隊伍由九龍公園出發，行至彌敦道，最後，由保安局局長黎棟國於海防道檢閱隊伍，巡遊歷時一小時。學生了解到抗日戰爭的歷史和戰爭的禍害，從而珍惜現時得來不易的繁榮穩定。
