This horse riding activity held on 25 April at Tuen Mun Public Riding School is viewed as an extension of our form 1 English curriculum. Our English teachers and native speaking coaches ensured that the experience was well structured and fun for all. All form one students not only had an experience of riding horses but also witnessed their daily routine in the stables. Our students learnt some useful vocabulary and wrote about their experience in English during the tour. What’s more, they tried something new outside of the classroom environment and pushed themselves beyond their comfort zone. Therefore, it’s also a great opportunity for them to get to know their peers and teachers in a more informal setting.
