Visit to The Helena May House
All form 1 students visited The Helena May, a declared monument of Hong Kong in Central, on 23 January 2017. Most of them have never been to any historic buildings before – the visit is certainly an eye-opening experience for both teachers and students. The visit was guided by a group of patient and friendly volunteers, all of whom set a very good example to the students about making contribution to our society and endeavoring to heritage preservation. An afternoon tea was arranged after the guided tour, where the students learnt about the table etiquette. Their eagerness to always raise questions in English would definitely be a stepping stone to their better learning.
