Joint-school & School-based oral practice
Joint-school DSE Oral Practice
Collaborating with Buddhist Leung Chik Wai College, our school organized a Joint-school DSE Oral Practice. Teachers of Leung Chik Wai College and our school served as examiners to give constructive feedback to students.
It is always important for our students to know their strengths and weaknesses. The oral practice has therefore given them very good opportunities to evaluate their learning progress and figure out what is needed to improve.
Ms Janie, an English teacher of Leung Chik Wai, gave some overall feedback to all students about what should be avoided in the exam and how can perform better.
Apart from the joint-school oral practice, our school also organizes regular school-based oral practice, allowing students to sit the practice in a real exam setting and to interact with students of other classes.
These practices allow students, particularly S6 students, to experience an exam-like environment, which may hopefully stimulate their will and determination to equip themselves to be better. They exchange ideas, learn from and encourage each other, forming one of the most significant parts of learning – “peer learning”.
